One Technician, One Standard
Hi, I’m Jillian!
A Russian manicure specialist based in Guelph, I focus on structured gel nails and extensions that wear cleanly, grow in evenly, and don’t need attention between appointments.
My work is centered on how the nail is cleaned, shaped, and built. I correct uneven or down-growing nails, work with bitten or damaged nails, and rebuild structure where it’s been lost. I remove unnecessary bulk and create nails that feel light but remain durable. Structure is what determines longevity, not thickness.
Most of my clients come in wanting their nails handled properly so they don’t have to think about them again until their next appointment.
Inside The Salon
Appointments are one-on-one in a private, controlled space. Every set is completed start to finish by the same tech. Standards remain fixed.
Prep, structure, and sanitation are handled in full. Each step is executed in sequence, without shortcuts. The process stays controlled to minimize discomfort, heat spikes, or surface damage.
Services are booked by category, not by condition. Time is reserved to assess, correct, and complete the work without you needing to explain, track, or manage anything.
Natural nails, extensions, and corrective work are all handled within the same system. Growth patterns, previous work, and inconsistencies are accounted for as part of the service, not added on.
You leave with nails finished correctly, growing in clean, and holding up in real life. The structure remains stable, and the result carries through until your next booking.
The system is fixed, so outcomes stay consistent.
Outside The Salon
Outside of work, I’m very much a warm-weather person. Summer is when I feel the most like myself. Sun, heat, good food, music always playing in the background.
My family is from Barbados and St. Vincent, and that influence shows up in how I live. I like things with flavour, energy, and intention
I’m usually in some kind of class or workshop if I can be. Anything hands-on, creative, or slightly unconventional. I like learning things properly and building skills over time. Music is part of my day-to-day, and I’m always adding to playlists. If you’ve ever asked what’s playing during your appointment, I’ve probably sent it to you after. [Link to my playlist]
Lately, I’ve been leaning more into slower systems outside of work. Cooking, making things from scratch, and building a life that feels a bit more grounded.
That same approach carries into the studio. Quiet, intentional, and built to last.
